Gleim offers a wonderful study guide with the Financial Accounting Exam Questions and Explanations book. A recent college grad, this book was used as a supplementary study aid by my accounting instructors that gives multiple choice type questions with suppoting explanations of both the correct and incorrect answers of recent CPA exam questions. It is a great asset and I plan to use it in preparation of the CPA exam.

Financial Accounting Exam Questions and Explanations: Exam Questions and Explanations (Gleim Knowledge Transfer Systems)
Published in Paperback by Gleim Publications (July, 1999)
Authors: Irvin N. Gleim, William Arthur Collins, and Grady M. Irwin
Average review score:

Great Book
This book is great! The questions are very helpful and relate well to the chapters in my intermediate textbook. The explanations to the correct answers are also very helpful when you get a question wrong. The CPA exam questions used in the book are challenging, but are a good preparation for the CPA exam. Also, the many professors like to use questions directly from this book, for their exams!

French Feminists on Religion: A Reader
Published in Hardcover by Routledge (29 December, 2001)
Authors: Morny Joy, Kathleen O'Grady, and Judith L. Poxon
Average review score:

French Feminists on Religion
French Feminists on Religion offers the first representative selection of important writings by French feminist thinkers on the topic of religion, including the most influential and provocative texts on the subject from Luce Irigaray, Julia Kristeva, Helene Cixous, Monique Wittig and Catherine Clement.

Each thinker is introduced by a bibliographical preface, whilst individual essays are preceded by an editorial commentary explaining the context and significance of each piece for the study of religion. The collected texts cover a broad range of religious practices and discourses focusing primarily on Jewish and Christian concerns, but including elements of ancient Goddess traditions, Witchcraft, Hinduism and Buddhism.

Brought together for the first time, these essays demonstrate the central importance of French feminism for the study of religion, and at the same time make evident the significance of religious themes, figures and concepts to the world of French feminist thinkers.

A "GREAT" STEAK BOOK!!
If you like a great steak(who doesn't), this book will be a better purchase than your next cut of beef. From the knowledge he gained in the cattle business, Grady Spears is able to teach the proper ways to cook any cut of beef. The book also contains an informative diagram of where the different cuts come from.

Besides the instruction & information, this book contains the finest recipes you will find. Such as the pan seared rib-eye, pepper crusted tenderloin, Texas beef wellington and my favorite, smoked prime rib w/ horseradish sauce!

Ireland's Unfinished Revolution: An Oral History
Published in Paperback by Roberts Rinehart Pub (February, 1999)
Authors: Kenneth Griffith and Timothy O'Grady
Average review score:

A fascinating read
This book is not your typical history book. It is the personal stories of 9 people (7 men and 2 women) who fought for a free Ireland from the Easter Rising of 1916 through to the Civil War of 1922-23. This is an amazing read, that tells of the often painful decisions these Irish veterans made on behalf of the country they loved.
